HOLIDAY SALON SHOW
2003-2004 which will be on view from November 21, 2003 to January 10, 2004. This group exhibition will include paintings, prints, sculpture, watercolors, photography, drawings, and digital images. All of the art works will be reasonably priced and will be for immediate sale. Some of the artists exhibiting at the HOLIDAY SALON SHOW have shown at the gallery before and others will exhibit at MAXWELL FINE ARTS for the first time. The exhibiting artists’ geographical locations include California, Maine, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Maryland and New York. There is a wide range in age, race and gender amongst these artists as well.
    At this particular time of global stress and self-reflection, MAXWELL FINE ARTS would like to present this HOLIDAY SALON SHOW as an opportunity for artists, arts supporters and community members to come together in appreciation of the visual arts and as a means of affirming the healing capacities of the arts during the holidays.

Insider / Outsider Fall 2003 exhibition, "Insider/Outsider", which will be on view  from October 3 to November 8, 2003. This two person exhibition includes assemblages by Charles Davidson and William J. Whalen. Both Davidson and Whalen are local "outsider" artists dealing with the ironical, whimsical and extraordinary qualities of the found and manipulated object. Together they present a humorous dialog, playful spirit and contemplative response to our culture through the iconography and processes of (de)constructed assemblage.

"PICTURING PORTRAITS", a salon of portraiture by Andrew Lattimore, Gina Pierleoni, Justin Schorr, Jessica Miller-Smith, Tricia C. Riebesehl and Bruce Waldman, which will be on view from Saturday, June 7 to Saturday, July 5, 2003. This exhibition brings to Peekskill six artists in a unique exploration of portraiture in contemporary art.
